Day 3: Port Blair- North Bay Island & Ross Island
Start your day with breakfast, followed by a pickup to the water sports complex and boarding a speed boat. The historic Ross Island provides a glimpse into the Japanese and British era. The entry fee for the island is Rs. 50 for adults and Rs. 25 for children and can be paid directly at the island. North Bay Island, also known as Coral Beach, is famous for water-based adventure activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, dolphin glass-bottom boat rides, coral safari semi-submarine rides, etc. In case Ross & North Islands are not operational due to bad weather or Covid-19, we will arrange alternative sightseeing or process a refund. If you choose to, in the evening, you can visit Corbin’s Cove Beach and enjoy a thrilling Sea Kart boat ride (available on a direct payment basis and a first in India).
The tour concludes after breakfast and transfer to the airport. Due to heavy traffic and the small size of Port Blair airport, it’s advised to arrive at least 2 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure.
No, Indian citizens do not need a visa to visit Andaman as it is part of India.
The best time to visit Andaman is between November and May when the weather is pleasant and the sea is calm.
Some of the must-visit places in Andaman include the Cellular Jail, Ross Island, Radhanagar Beach, Neil Island, and Baratang Island.
Andaman offers a range of water sports activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, sea walking, parasailing, jet skiing, and banana boat rides.
While Andaman’s beaches are beautiful, some of them have strong currents and undertows, making swimming unsafe. It is advisable to stick to designated swimming areas and follow the lifeguard’s instructions.
